A concrete pad (min dia. of tank). or well compacted sand base pr other consolidated fill such as crushed dust is recommended. this fill must be free of any rocks, stones or any sharp objects. The sand base or other consolidated fill base must be 75mm-100mm deep and at least 600mm larger in diameter than the tank base. The outside of the base must be supported ny a retaining wall to prevent erosion. The overflow must be piped well clear of the tank to avoid any undermining of the tank base. Ensure that a flexible hose at least 300mm (12″) is installed after the tank valve to absorb shocks or movement. If tank is placed on a stand, never support pipework off the tank. Failure to properly install tank as per instructions will void warranty. Never enter a tank alone. Have an attendant stand by. Restricted Space – only enter after carrying out a Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (H.I.R.A) ***The clearance required for truck and trailer is 19m long, 5m high and 3.5m wide. Please ensure there are no low-hanging branches or powerlines. Please ensure the entrance to your property is wide enough and there is enough turning area (size of standard roundabout). It is the Owner/Purchaser’s responsibility to position the tank on the pad and connect to the tank. Large and/or bulky products will require a lifting device (forklift etc)to unload from the truck – this is not supplied by the driver.***
